How to Access Your Asus Router a Step-by-Step Login Guide

Users may access and adjust network settings, control security features and enhance their home or workplace network by router ASUS login.
  • You must use a web browser to connect to the router in order to log in. Make sure your computer or mobile device is first linked to the router's network via an Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi.
  • The router's default IP address, usually 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 may be entered into the address bar of your favourite browser by opening it.
  • If none of these addresses work see the router's manual or look for the right information on the back of the router.
  • You will be required to provide the router's default username and password which are often set to "admin" for ASUS routers when the login page loads.
  • If you have modified your login credentials please use the new password and username. Once the necessary credentials have been entered you will be able to access the administrative interface of the router.
  • From there you may adjust a number of settings including firewall settings, parental controls, Wi-Fi names (SSID) and passwords.
  • Holding down the reset button for around ten seconds will do a factory reset if you've lost your login credentials.
  • However this will also remove any custom configurations from the router.
  • Changing the default login credentials on a regular basis will improve security and stop unwanted users from accessing your network.
